Is America WORSE Than Sodom and Gomorrah?

We are to ask for God to bless this nation, in the proper context. Not in a sense of this nation being virtuous, but torturous to us in promoting sin against us. Praying for our persecutor to be blessed with salvation and repentance, to turn from wicked ways. We know what scripture says will come. And, we also need to maintain what scripture instructs us to do, regardless.

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

Romans 12:14 KJV

Vengeance is the Lord’s.

Even if any hopes for personal defense fail, we are to even then pray for salvation, not fire on our enemies. God will bring fire in His time, to those who fail to repent. Our job, is to seek repentance before judgement comes.

And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
