    I sincere believe that pimps like Hoch and White and they’re ilk are so DRUNK with the wealth that they gain from spewing this heresy that they believe WHATEVER COMES FROM THEIR OWN MOUTHS!

    Yes, the question about—I did make reference to the phrase, “transdispensationalism,” almost sort of throwing it away; at the same time, I know it provoked some discussion and thought. It is a term that, to my knowledge, has only been used by one person, and that person is Tony Evans in a book entitled Totally Saved. That book came out, I think, in the year 2002; it was published by Moody Press. It is a book that endeavors to give a very, very simple and basic understanding of salvation.

    At the end of the book, there is a chapter in which the question comes up about people who have never heard the gospel. And, in that section, Tony writes that people who never hear the gospel, if they will accept whatever light they have, God will acknowledge that as sufficient for their salvation. That, in itself, is a—that is a departure from historic Christian gospel. We would say that if someone lives up to the light they have, then the Lord, who is not limited in His capacity to deliver the truth, will bring the full light—and that no one could ever be saved apart from Christ.

    Just a side note….don’t you notice that almost ALL the false prophets, WOF, and properity pimps all believe in the pre-trib rapture. I have never heard of a post trib or Calvinist pulpit pimp. I am sure there are some but most of the BIG named pulpit pimps (Copeland, Hagee, Hagin, White, Meyer, Osteen, Jakes et al) believe in the dispensational pre-trib rapture.

    Any thoughts?

    I’ve known of larry Huck since 1983, and met him 3 or 4 times and have had coffee with him. I think calling him a pimp might be calling one of God’s servants a sin. This much I know of him, while I have not agreed with his emphasis of teaching about prosperity, I understand his biblical references why he does. But about the man, has started many churches, some with financial support, some without, did missionary work in Australia, moving his family with no real certainty of financial security, many times, and many years over. Was kicked out of fundamentalist denomination for his loyalty to his worthwhile friends, leaving his future preaching and church support in doubt. Starting several churches, then giving them to others, and starting over. Given mountains of money, time, love and counseling and things I don’t even know about to people. Given millions of dollars to overseas and missionaries as well as helped personal friends during times of trajedy. He has been married to one woman, and lives a holy life. And has always been a very hard worker. Some of the people who are saying a disparaging remark about this man, can’t hold a candle to his work ethic or the impact he has had on helping people in third world countries and in the US. Find out a person’s background and journey to where they are before you so easily dispatch a criticism upon people who have worked very hard to love and help people.

    Another point is that Mother Teresa did great works as well. She could run circles around Larry. However, those great works will not get her into heaven either. If Mother Teresa did not know Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior, she will be damned to hell.
