Consider this an addendum to the post about a video I uploaded to YouTube that has been removed. Please read my previous post to see details about that video and other details I won’t be repeating in this post. In short, Pastor Benny Hinn and the World Healing Church d/b/a Benny Hinn Ministries had YouTube remove many videos. Some were videos that were of Benny Hinn, others were videos simply talking about Benny Hinn and for some odd reason some of the videos removed were not about and did not mention Benny Hinn at all, but were still removed and carry a notice that he asked for them to go. All videos removed exposed false teaching and examples of abuse from the pulpit. This post will serve as a listing of videos that were removed. I am only listing what I know about now and will add more with future updates to this same post. You can always contact me with details about others that were removed and carry a noticed that they were dropped by legal request from Pastor Benny Hinn and the World Healing Church d/b/a Benny Hinn Ministries and I’ll try and add others to the list as I learn about them. It’s best if you know the title and have a direct link to the video that was removed and has the notice. Any other additional details are also helpful. In my opinion, we are witnessing a full effort to suppress the best examples of exposing false teaching, by showing clips of it to the world. Benny and his cohorts are embarrassed by the truth coming to light and are doing all they can to stop it.
All removed videos currently carry the following statement at the top of the page in large red type:
This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Pastor Benny Hinn and the World Healing Church d/b/a Benny Hinn Ministries
My own video that was removed was titled Benny Hinn Pimping for TBN, url http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVz5JZgxCPc it was 10 minutes 3 seconds in length and I detail the contents of that video in this previous post.

Here are more that I’ve found were removed. Names are either the exact names or a description of the video.
Those are the ones I am aware of currently. 21 total.
Other sources exposing Benny Hinn still have their material up, like this site.
Also the Google video series called “The Many Faces of Benny Hinn” is still up, although a series with the same name was removed from YouTube, but they were NOT the same video. (Google owns Youtube.) The Google video series starts with the statement:
(You can’t sue us now.)
So the makers of that video must have had a run in with Hinn’s legal team and found a way to protect themselves.

update 4/29/2007 4:40PM: Some of you might have known the YouTube user Lalovision. I say that in the past tense, because Lalo just contacted me and said YouTube removed these two videos by order of Benny Hinn:
All of you who know about the Marjoe video know that Hinn is not mentioned at all and it’s a real shame that video is gone. Which really shows something sinister is at work here. Lalovision’s YouTube account has been closed because of this and so another estimated 25-30 videos are now also gone with that YouTube account being closed, although Hinn didn’t seek to delete those other videos, they go down with the account. Lalovision is the first full account closure I know of.
YouTube user lucaslabrador‘s video Benny Goes To Antichrist: url http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92BVhRGT6Gs was removed, but he has a still working copy on Google Videos here. All he does is talk himself. No footage of Hinn at all.
That ups the total to 24.

update 4/29/2007 8:30PM: Via a Google Search of YouTube using his name I’ve found WAY MORE videos that have been removed, and these are just the ones with Benny’s name on them.
That ups the total we know were removed to 73!
update 4/30/2007 9:55AM: YouTube user NewInChrist tells me the video they uploaded named Strange Fire url http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-C6aEn6MUmQ was removed. If I recall correctly, that video was a collection of some false teacher’s antics.
The total is now 74!
update 5/1/2007 4:30PM: YouTube user dazzarai informed me that 2 videos he uploaded were removed. One was the Benny Hinn false prophesies of Jesus appearing video that is noted above and the other was not yet listed here and is Benny Hinn A False Prophet: url http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGlKlUprulU .
This ups the total to 75!
Given there are many not yet known about I would not be surprised if well over 100 videos were removed by request of Benny Hinn. Even at 75 this is a stunning number for YouTube to allow to be taken down when Benny Hinn did not have any copyright over some of them. Like ones not at all about him and the CBC documentary that is owned by the CBC, the NBC videos and so on.

I had a similar situation happen to me. I’m doing a series called Con-Artists for [Another] Jesus where each week I expose a typical televangescamming pulpit pimp…with other types of heretics within professing christendom here and there(they’re on my youtube channel, Coyne1988, feel free to use any of my videos on this blog any time). Funny thing though, the one who filed a dmca wasnt a pulpit pimp, it was the one I did my lastest expose on, open-air pelagian heretic, Kerrigan Skelly. If needed, there is a way to fight back and keep a video up, but you have to have done it within Fair Use guidelines. Having seen some of your videos, I don’t think you’d have any problem countering if you ever feel the need.

There was a video entitled, “Televangelist Scandals”, which was posted by youtube user ShawnML2, and it too got removed due to alledged copyright infringement, here’s the claim: “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Jimmy Swaggart Ministries”. Now if Jimmy Swaggart were truly repentant, why would he file a DMCA on a video that’s really not for him to be filing a dmca against to begin with? Now yes, it hink it had stuff involving Swaggart’s adulterous affair, but he didnt compile the video itself and besides, it’s called fair-use and, again, if he was truly repentant, i doubt he would have filed that DMCA like he did. I can’t seem to get a copy of the link itself, but I do have it in my favorites on youtube.
