Today Black Conservatives are meeting in DC to discuss various issues with a different perspective from what the media typically portrays Blacks having! Why is it that you’d never see two Blacks debate different sides of racial issues on a cable news network before FoxNews? Because somebody didn’t want you to know Black Conservatives exists! Prior to FoxNews the only time I’d see a Black Conservative invited to debate on TV was the Morton Downey Jr. Show and Geraldo Rivera’s old TV talk show. (And unfortunately it would sometimes get too heated on Downey’s show. Just as Morton would hype things up to be.)
Blogger La Shawn Barber has been added to the panel discussion. It is good to see not only Black Conservatives meeting, but a new media figure on the panel. Even if it happened because someone had to cancel.
We know this weekend’s nut fest will get plenty of media time. Don’t hold your breath waiting for much coverage of the different perspective at today’s meeting.
I say to my Black Conservative brothers and sisters, keep up the good work! And I say to my White, Asian, Latino and Conservative brothers and sisters of all other races, you’re about to see some more of us at the table 😉 . Because the Democrats know that we are growing in number. They are just under a false delusion that we all will continue voting on a single party line out of fear!
Based on the Joint Center?s 2002 national survey,
African Americans? views on several issues suggest that
the GOP might be more successful in appealing to
younger blacks. First, 25 percent of this population are
self-described conservatives and 31 percent are self described
moderates. On education, 63 percent rate their
local public schools as only fair or poor, and 66.4 percent
support school vouchers for public, private, or parochial
schools. On Social Security, one of the Democrats?
signature issues, 61.2 percent of young blacks believe
they will get back less from Social Security than what
they pay in, and a substantial 79.3 percent favor the
fund?s partial privatization. On the ?traditional values?
front, a majority (52.9 percent) of these young African
Americans attend church at least once a week.
Despite the compatibility between the GOP?s positions in
several of these areas and the views of many young
African Americans, the overwhelmingly conservative and
southern white nature of the national Republican Party
ensures that when young blacks vote, they remain firmly
in the Democratic column.

The Democrats are so busy resting on their laurels regarding Blacks that they are not taking the time to adjust their platform to meet the desires of Conservatives! Personally I take no party affiliation because despite what people like my Conservative brother Michael Medved says, we don’t need parties just to promote our ideas and views in politics! And I’ve found all parties change depending on the wind. My values are solid! So I prefer to be an Independent Conservative!
One sign that you know Black Conservatives are about to grow in massive numbers is because the Liberals are starting to cry about us more! They know many Blacks really are Conservatives at heart, that still endorse Liberals out of old fears. They realize many of the old issues are gone. The Civil Rights battle was already won! So they know they will be losing numbers! It’s time for a new perspective that is based on responsibility and better results than the failed methods already tried using the Liberal method!

Translated – These Black Quasi-Socialists (I have moved away from the terms liberal and conservative and gone to a more descriptive term) seek to make the case that because their ideology is POPULAR in the Black community that they are correct and those who challenge them and thus have a minority position is wrong or are even a threat to Black people.
Unfortunately – Popular does not mean EFFECTIVE.
The job of all of us who see the light is to get the Black community to focus on Effectiveness above popularity and reject the ability of the Black Demcorats in Civil Rights Leaders Clothing to use their verbal skills to attack and “tease” those who’s only crime is that they disagree with these Quasi-Socialists and are demanding ACCOUNTABILITY for the TRANSFORMATION of the Black community from them.
